How does the snow plough driver get to work? |
If his job is driving the snow plough, then the question should be "How does
the snow plough driver get to his snow plough?". Then it all depends upon
where he's left it when clocking off the previous shift. At the end of the
previous shift there would have been the similar question "How does a snow
plough driver get home?". This of course depends upon the weather
conditions. If it's still heavily snowing then it would make sense for him
to drive the plough to his home, where it will be the following morning,
easy peasy. If their's not much snow, then he can leave it at the depot and
get the bus on the nicely cleared roads he's just finished ploughing,
meaning he will catch the bus back to his plough the following morning. Now
I know what you're thinking... what if there's not much snow at the end of
his shift, but it's a white-out over night and he's stuck in the morning...
at which point I introduce a mallet to your esophagus and the problem goes
away. |
