All reviewed Jon’s excellent spreadsheet
clearly showing that we have absolutely no cash whatsoever ….
2.
All agreed that Jon had done a sterling job
of organising the footie and should therefore carry on doing nearly everything
this year…! [Apart from the training that Neil has to talk about each year …]
But, it was agreed that the following people
would act as support, by;

JDF to issue one cheque to MR, GD, RF – in case they have to pay. |

Somehow, RM and GD to carry spare

In JDF’s absence, one of the
following people will take the stats./votes ; MR, GD, RF. |

It was decided not to write a letter
outlining just how crap we thought Shenley were as this might upset them.
Instead, RM will speak with them, making some carefully worded ‘suggestions’. –
So that’s going to be much better, then.
4.
Subscriptions for this year are to be paid as follows;

£20.00, payable by 30/09/01. |

Weekly Subs. : |
4.00, per night, payable as
requested by JDF – usually in handy, regular, monthly instalments of
around £100 to £200 quid. |

It was finally agreed that we would purchase
some new shirts. Style/Colour to be chosen by JDF and GD [although it was noted
that RF was only happy with this providing GD didn’t get involved …]. A cost of
£30.00 per player was confirmed to cover shirt, numbering and name.
Payable to JDF no later than 31/10/01.

After we started looking at teams carefully
and trying to be smart and plan, RM simply picked a team which met with
little/no opposition and thus it was.
These teams are;

The leagues will be decided by JDF once we
know exactly when the league starts and he can work out which days he can’t
make, thereby putting himself in the other league.

The only other business recorded was a
revision of the voting system as no AGM would be complete unless we reviewed
this and introduced a change, irrespective of how trivial or irrelevant it may
be.
So, after discussing capping the votes [If
you’re name was MARK or SEAN – and you ran a lot] it was decided that the voting
system for 2001/2002 season would be;
All Man of The Match votes would be cast in
the same way – resulting in the respective Player of The Year awards for the two
teams.
The overall Player of The Year – based on
Man of The Evening votes, would be voted by the substitutes/sick on the
sideline. This would be a 1-2-3 voting system for the best three players.
[Obviously, in the event that no-one was watching, the players would have to do
this].
Oh, and everyone really liked Daz’s hair.
There being no further business the meeting
ended.
